Job Title: CAD Technician (Tendering Department)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our tendering department in Charleville. This role involves producing 3D models and 2D drawings to support our bid proposals and design concepts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoDesk Revit and 2D AutoCAD, along with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed 3D models in AutoDesk Revit for tender submissions and preliminary design work.
- Create and modify 2D drawings including site layouts and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely drawing outputs.
- Interpret technical information and incorporate it into models and drawings as required.
- Participate in occasional site visits to gather information or verify existing conditions.
- Maintain drawing documentation and comply with project-specific BIM protocols.
- Utilize Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection when necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit is essential.
- Experience with AutoDesk 2D tools (AutoCAD) for layouts and P&IDs.
- Relevant industry experience, ideally in civil or mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and tools, including Navisworks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Location & Work Schedule:
- The role is office-based in Charleville, 5 days a week.
- Occasional travel for site visits may be required.
