*Bioinformatician required by leading Biotechnology firm based in Oxford*
A leading Biotechnology firm who are going through a period of rapid growth currently requires a Bioinformatician to analyse NGS data for vector and virus genomes, design new immunogens and to help the group in analysing large data sets.
Upon joining, the Bioinformatician will analyse NGS data and work collaboratively with SME’s in the design of new immunogens. The Bioinformatician will keep very much updated with everything in the field of NGS and ensure all the work completed complies with relevant quality standards. The Bioinformatician will represent Bioinformatics within lab meetings and give presentations on findings to key stakeholders.
In terms of skills, the Bioinformatician must have at least a Masters degree in any relevant discipline and have solid experience of developing and implementing novel bioinformatics algorithms.
The Bioinformatician will have an understanding of molecular biology, virology or immunology and have solid NGS experience.
