Our client, a high profile commercial entity & major employer in the Shannon region, are now actively looking to expand their accounts & finance shared services team & have partnered with Cpl to help support this growth.
This new Accounts Associate role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious & suitably qualified professional & will offer genuine long-term career growth & development opportunities within one of most sought-after employers in the region.
As a vital part of the group's accounts/finance team, you will take ownership of key parts of the AP & AR functions covering duties such as monthly bank reconciliations, engaging directly with customers & suppliers on invoice issues, cash/budget analysis & assisting in the month end close process
In addition to the above, you will also work closely with senior colleagues on internal compliance & audit duties, prepare financial KPI reports for management teams & support the implementation of new accounts processes across diverse business units.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 2-3+ years experience in a similar broad based accounts assistant role in a large corporate or multinational environment.
- Ideally 3rd level degree qualified.
- Accounting Technician (or similar) qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong IT skills including a high level of ability in all MS Excel.
- Experience in using Oracle would be an advantage.
This position is being offered on an initial 2 year contract basis with genuinely strong further career growth & development prospects.
Salary on offer will depend on candidate skills, experience & qualifications but is expected to be 30-33k approx.
Please note this role will be a hybrid mix of in-office & remote/WFH.
