Our client, a high profile Limerick city based sporting organisation, are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their team due to a recent retirement within the group. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will cover a range of duties accounts payables & receivables processing, cash & payment reporting, dealing with supplier & customer queries, supporting payroll processing & assisting the finance team lead in the month end close processes.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 2-3+ years’ experience in a similar broad-based accounts support role within a corporate environment.
- Accounting Technician or similar qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to multi-task.
This position is a permanent role with salary depending on candidate skills & experience but expected to range 30-33k.
Please note this will be an in-office based role so candidates would ideally need to be based in the Limerick region or happy to commute.
