Are you an experienced accounts professional with a strong mix of exposure to accounts payable, month end & banking/financial administration support duties? Our client, a Co. Limerick based manufacturing organisation are now, due to increased levels of business, looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their small but dynamic finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will cover a range of duties including reconciliation of daily receipts & payments, updating accounts ledgers, preparing lodgements, cash/budget analysis & supporting the month end & trail balance procedures.
In addition to the above you will also assist field-based delivery colleagues on logging payments & expenses as well as other ad-hoc/project based duties to support the wider accounts/finance team.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
· 2-3+ years’ experience in a similar broad-based accounts support role within a corporate environment.
· Accounting Technician, part-qualified accountant status or similar would be a major advantage.
· Experience in using Sage would be an advantage as well as other IT systems.
· Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to manage multiple deadlines.
This position is a permanent role with salary depending on candidate skills & experience but expected to range up to approx. 28-32k.
Please note this will be an office based role so candidates would ideally need to be based in the Limerick region or happy to commute.
