Your role: to examine new construction and renovation projects to verify structural integrity and compliance with specifications, codes and regulations. You will ensure that new buildings, alterations, installations, upgrades and extensions meet the regulatory standards of safety, sustainability, accessibility and design.
Duties will include:
Monitoring progress against the programme
Assessing whether the works comply with legal requirements such as health and safety legislation
Assessing whether the works are being carried out in accordance with the contract documents (which may include taking measurements and samples)
Monitoring site conditions to ensure that work is undertaken in accordance with recommendations.
Providing regular reports.
Attending construction progress meetings.
Keeping records of:Progress, Delays, Weather conditions, Drawings and instructions received, Deliveries, Health or safety issues.
Other significant events
Preferably a level 8 qualification however, if you have experience in site inspections for hospital or medical facility projects this is not an essential requirement
Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) (CPC50210), an Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying (CPC60115), or a Bachelor of Construction Management
Immediately long-term, career enhancing contract role.
Salary is negotiable depending on the suitability and fit of the candidate. However, the ideal candidate can expect a salary in the order of €55,000
