They are seeking a technology business analyst to join their technology team.
The Business Analysis team develop and maintain business critical applications.You will be responsible for working with our business teams to analyse, develop and build agreement on business and functional requirements.
This is a cross functional, group wide role and requires an ability to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and to generate consensus with key stakeholders throughout the business.
You will work closely with business change teams and business subject matter experts to ensure that the solutions meet detailed requirements.
You will work on gathering information from key stakeholders and experts across the business, translating complex business requirements to specifications.
This also includes input to the development of business cases and proposals, preparing and leading formal requirements gathering sessions, and workshops with experts across the business.
You will be good at identifying potential risks, gaps and issues whilst also facilitating requirements prioritisation and enabling the business to make effective decisions.
Experience developing business requirements documentation from draft through to sign-off, complying with required methodologies and governance process is important. Assisting the business with change impacts analysis, training strategies, planning and execution.
You will have previous project experience as a business analyst.
Experience of managing stakeholders, determining and documenting requirements.
Able to work with others and to collaborate with a diverse range of people to arrive at the optimum solutions.
Knowledge of energy sector information technology solutions will be an advantage but not a requirement.
You should have a keen interest in developing your skills and experience across a broad range of emerging technologies including digital transformation, data analytics and cloud-based innovations.
You will have a university degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business or other relevant degree, with a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a business analyst
Most importantly, you will have excellent skills in communication to work collaboratively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders to support the delivery of IT services.
