Data Migration Consultant
6 month day rate contract
Location: Dublin – Hybrid
Overview
We are seeking a Data Transformation Consultant to support a large-scale legacy to SaaS migration, with a strong focus on Salesforce and Bullhorn platforms. This role is hands-on and technical, leading data transformation, functional data mapping, and migration activities to ensure accurate, high-quality data delivery into target SaaS and enterprise data environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead data transformation and migration activities from legacy systems into Salesforce and Bullhorn
· Conduct detailed data analysis to identify and resolve inconsistencies, anomalies, and data integrity issues prior to migration
· Develop and document comprehensive data migration plans, schedules, and status updates for stakeholders
· Perform data migration tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as required
· Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams on data migration best practices and tools
· Own functional and technical data mapping, including entities, relationships, and business rules
· Design and manage transformation pipelines to cleanse, standardize, and validate migrated data
· Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and completeness across source and target systems
· Partner closely with data engineering, integration, architecture, and business teams
· Support enterprise data alignment and downstream reporting/analytics needs
Required Experience
- Strong experience in data migration and transformation for SaaS platforms
- Proven background in functional data mapping and legacy system migration
- Solid SQL and ETL/ELT experience
- Strong stakeholder communication and delivery focus
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms ( Azure, ADF, Databricks, etc.)
- Knowledge of CRM, ATS, or recruitment systems
- Previous experience with ATS Migrations
