CPL have engaged with a multinational pharmaceutical client looking to hire a Diagnostic Project Manager on freelance basis.
The Diagnostic Project Manager will work across several cross-functional diagnostic project/ programme teams to provide hands on project mangement expertise to deliver projects within agreed time, budget and quality. The role depends on close collaboration with Diagnostic Project Managers and diagnostic project teams to ensure strategic alignment, and with Diagnostic Diagnostic Information Managers, who are responsible for inputting project information into the client’s enterprise planning tool.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• At least one project will be within Oncology and likely late stage
• The PM is expected to manage Diagnostic projects deliverables to cost and budget and PM will be the key driver of project goals
• Work in close partnership with a Project Leader/ Diagnostic Expert. The PM will also partner with scientists, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
• The projects are co-developed with large pharma companies – an exciting opportunity to work with other leading industry companies
• Team and department are dynamic and very agile in the way they work
• Manages multiple complex projects to deliver to time, cost, and quality
• Drives process simplification and standardisation across Precision Medicine to maximise efficiencies and establish best practice
Skills/ Experience Required:
Essential:
• Extensive project management experience in industry
• At least one project will be within Oncology and likely late stage
• Understanding of drug development and ideally diagnostics
• Strong personal skills are essential – communication, teamwork, etc
Desirable:
• PhD is highly desirable though MSc or BSc would be accepted with a high drug discovery understanding
• Diagnostic experience
