Our Client, Ireland’s largest integrated stainless steel service centre, servicing Pharmaceutical, Food processing, Dairying / Agri sector, Brewing, Environmental and Architectural Industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead the site Equipment Engineering program. In this position, you will be responsible for the reliability, specification, and maintenance of fibre laser cutting, folding, and polishing equipment. You will interface with Production, Engineering, Facilities, and third-party service providers while focusing on continuous performance improvement.
Take responsibility for developing and overseeing detailed maintenance processes.
Manage resources to optimise equipment maintenance activities with a focus on; bottleneck tools, problem-solving for different failures, and manage equipment parts/consumables to support production.
Identify and initiate projects to improve equipment performance, reliability, product cycle time and yield.
Develop and satisfy critical KPI’s aligned to business goals, inclusive of equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, cost of scrap etc.
Participate in cross-functional groups, e.g. Production, Engineering, Facilities, and Equip service providers.
Degree qualification with an emphasis on Electrical/Electronic or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant equipment engineering role.
Possess excellent fault-finding skills and can logically trace faults to their root cause.
Possess a strong work ethic with a “can do” positive attitude.
