My client based in Limerick is part of the Stewart Group, who has been a leader in the wire and cable industry for over 40 years.
The role:
The Facility & Business Manager is responsible for all day-to-day activities associated with operating the production facility located in Limerick Ireland.
Responsibilities:
These specific tasks include responsibilities for effective resource allocation, optimizing production schedules, quality control, formulation troubleshooting, supply chain negotiations, direct customer interaction and associated business development activities. Maintaining complete customer satisfaction, ensuring on-time shipments, operating within the facility budgetary requirements, continuous improvements in manufacturing efficiencies and costs are key for this role. Production facility employees will report directly to the Facility & Business Manager.
Requirements:
• Technical Degree (preferably STEM) desired, but not required
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Previous experience in Specialty Chemicals or Lubricant Industry
• Familiarity with the Telecommunications sector is a plus
• Familiarity with inventory control systems a plus
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and collaborative skills
