Location: Home (WFH), Architect / Engineer (A/E) Offices, Ringaskiddy Site
Reporting to the Construction Lead, role is responsible to:
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day EHS management of the project site
- Encourage and develop conduct with respect to safety, wherein demonstrating a visible and energetic presence to the entire workforce in the field
- Provide EHS training and leadership by example
- Develop and implement an industry leading and best-in-class EHS programme for the Construction and CQV phases of the project. Engage with local & corporate Pfizer team members and other project partners such as CM & Subcontractors in this regard.
- Draw upon best practices industry-wide to ensure that project EHS meets the targets of Zero accidents
- Initiate and maintain an open relationship with the CM team and the wider Pfizer team to ensure successful & safe project delivery
- Interface with CM Team and ensure appropriate management of all EHS aspects of the Construction element of the project
- Draw from experience in relation to EHS solutions, including behavioral safety
- Continually evolve & refresh the EHS programme as the project progresses
- Engage with all services providers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with Pfizer requirements and industry best practice
- Establish a strong relationship with the functional site team and specifically the sustaining site EHS Lead
- Attend all contractor kickoff / pre-construction & weekly meetings
- Support the Safety Leadership Team
- Provide inputs to project reports and presentations
- At the appropriate time, assume EHS leadership for CQV activities on-site
