Finance Manager EMEA
My client is looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team based in Dublin. The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the EMEA based finance function which is responsible for all group entities in Europe and the Middle East. Close liaison with all offices in the region as well as UK Senior Finance Managers is essential.
This is a strategic, yet hands on, role which drives the planning and day-to-day delivery of the Firm’s EMEA finance service.
Finance has a presence in multiple global offices.
n Manage the daily activities of financial accounting and month end activities which includes the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, disbursement payments, credit card and merchant facilities, employee claims and credit control.
n Ensure the cash flow process is effectively managed by forecasting cash flow, identifying pinch points, being aware of large outstanding bills and client payment timeframes to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash requirements.
n Manage the banking facilities including, bank liaison, facility management, international currency transactions, daily banking transactions, reconciliation, leasing and finance facilities and administration of electronic banking site.
n Ensure compliance with financial global policies and maintain good internal control systems and operational processes for audit review and ISO 9001 accreditation.
n Manage the year-end audit and reviews of the relevant countries. Communicate with external accountants and auditors in order to comply with local statutory, regulatory and professional requirements and manage the process of regulatory and financial end of year audits.
n Previous experience in a Finance Manager function in an international law firm/professional services environment
n Advanced skills in Excel
n Experience in finance systems, preferably Elite 3E
n Previous experience in a multi-currency environment.
n Motivate, mentor and provide leadership to the finance team, setting and reviewing performance objectives on a regular basis
n Monitor the workflow of the finance team and identify areas where efficiencies of the functions can be improved
