My client a leader in the Pharma sector are currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join their expanding team.
Position Title: Financial Accountant
Department: Finance
Reports To: Director of Finance and Procurement
Purpose and Scope
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of group consolidated accounts and annual financial statement preparation, have exposure to managing complex intercompany transactions, a working knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, and an understanding of tax/VAT at a local level. The role requires a candidate with a can-do attitude who can bring fresh eyes and add value to an already high performing finance function. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Procurement the candidate will play a key role in the ongoing development of the Company's finance function. Your Role:
Ø Oversight of monthly group consolidated accounts preparation (internal)
Ø Oversight of quarterly group consolidation (external bank reporting)
Ø Oversight of annual group financial statements preparation (statutory)
Ø Responsible for intercompany transactions and review
Ø Preparation of partner sales reporting for presentation to internal stakeholders
Ø Partner audits
Ø Oversight and liaise with external advisors re transfer pricing
Ø Support annual budget and monthly forecast (LBE) process
Ø Support FP&A function
Ø Support with audit preparation and execution
Ø Preparation and filing of VAT returns
Project Work:
Ø Review/improve and document finance SOP’s
Ø Central role in upcoming ERP transition
Ø Transfer pricing documentation review
Your Skills:
Ø Qualified Accountant with minimum 2 years PQE
Ø Currently (or in previous roles) responsible for/exposure to group consolidations
Ø Strong knowledge intercompany transactions / eliminations
Ø Exposure to FP&A processes
Ø Working knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and the application of same
Ø Experience in Pharma Industry (nice to have)
Ø Technical excellence (Microsoft suite/ERP’s)
