CPL are delighted to be partnering again with one of the UK’s largest and most successful companies as they implement some exciting growth plans within their finance department at their Craigavon, Co.Armagh site to recruit for newly created full time, permanent General Ledger Accountant.
You will work closely with site accountants to deliver on the financial performance of the business unit and subsequent reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities;
· Working as part of a team producing financial reporting for a defined business unit.
· Reporting outputs including monthly, quarterly and annual financial information and associated reporting
· Input into relevant areas of monthly and quarterly disclosures.
· Complete all reporting in line with established group timetables.
· Develop deep knowledge across a range of areas including revenue/ cost of sales / overheads / inventory / fixed assets
· Deliver key balance sheet account reconciliations
· Complete relevant areas in relation to annual and statutory accounting.
· Work with other members of the finance team to ensure consistency of working across the business units and to ensure best practice is implemented and followed.
· Work on cross-functional projects where required providing expert guidance from a financial viewpoint.
· Operate with the highest standards of financial integrity and demonstrate each of the company values to a high level.
· Work as part of a highly motivated team, coaching and supporting other more junior members of the team.
· Carry out other duties that may reasonably be requested
What we are looking for;
· Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
· Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and US Gaap
· Ability to build working positive relationships with stakeholders including Senior BU finance staff.
· A team player who can work collaboratively across business units.
· Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Flexible regarding travel requirements.
