Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Governance with the implementation and roll out of key Board Approved Frameworks
- Work with the Front Office and support and oversight functions (including the Second Line of Defence)
- Monitor and ensure processes and procedures are in place to support the Business in meeting the requirements set out in the Policy Management and Outsourcing Frameworks.
- Monitor, review and manage the Policy Management Framework
- Monitor and maintain the Firm’s Outsourcing Framework
- Attend and document meeting minutes and actions at Meetings as and when required.
- Deliver the required governance around the introduction of new products, markets and services to ensure approval conditions and associated actions are monitored and met.
- Leverage strong project management skills to manage the change processes
- Co-ordinate and produce concise and effective reports to a number of key stakeholders
- Draft memos, reports and other documents for review, consideration and approval by Executive Committee, Risk Committee and/or Board.
- Maintain, review and update key governance documents to ensure efficient and accountable decision making.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Support, Risk or Compliance function within the Financial Services industry.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Good understanding of the current business environment within financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management experience and a proven track record of managing through change.
