Cpl is working in Partnership with a successful and rapidly expanding Engineering business in Dungannon to appoint an experienced Group HR Officer to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview
The Group HR Officer will be a member of this companies management team and will have accountability for the full employee lifecycle – from sourcing potential applicants to managing exits from the organisation. Their main aim is to ensure the organisation achieves its goals by creating - and delivering on their people strategy.
Reports to:
The successful candidate will report directly to The Managing Director
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working in partnership with the management team
- Designing the people strategy
- Conducting an ongoing gap analysis and implementation of fill strategies
- Identifying and retaining key talent across the organisation
- Setting up learning and development interventions to meet the needs of the organization
- Managing all recruitment activities including key positions
- Manage Inductions, & right to work checks
- Designing pay scales and benefits packages
- Manage Contracts & employee handbooks
- Manage Grievances & Disciplinary procedures
- Creating legally compliant people policies and procedures for each jurisdiction
- Statutory reporting
Experience:
- Several years with responsibility of the HR function in an SME or large organisation
- Operating in a HR capacity across jurisdictions
- Reporting to management level or equivalent
- Familiarity with Irish, NI and UK employment legislation
- Ideally, but nor essential, having worked in the engineering/agri-parts sector
Qualifications:
- A primary degree in business and/or HR, of equivalent
- Membership of the CIPD
