Position: Head of Quality Control
Location: Salisbury
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Employment type: Permanent
You will be leading and managing the QC team in both Analytical Chemistry and Microbiology testing in line with regulatory requirements, safety standards and budget constraints.
Role:
•Ensure testing is carried out in line with company policies, and in line with regulatory standards
•Ensure all facilities are maintained and meet necessary SOP’s and regulations
•Lead regular reviews of safety standards for the QC laboratories
•Form working relationships with key internal and external leaders
•Lead the training, management, appraisal and mentoring of staff
•Recruit new staff members and lead the staff development plan
•Review and implement changes where necessary to meet demands
•Act as an SME within analytical methodology to ensure all testing is carried out on properly developed and validation methods to applicable ISO standards.
Requirements:
•PhD in Life Science
•Knowledge of MHRA and FDA regulatory requirements
•Extensive management experience of pharmaceutical QC laboratories
•Experience in Analytical methods
