Health & Safety Officer
We are currently working with a global cold storage and distribution company, with sites all over the world including multiple sites in the north and south of Ireland we are assisting them as they are looking to add a Health & Safety Officer to their team in Monaghan.
The Role
- Developing & implementing the company's corporate Health and Safety policies.
- Participating in Risk Assessments of activities
- Ensuring that appropriate business continuity management plans are developed and implemented.
- Leading on H&S matters, identifying issues, challenging behaviours and providing concise recommendations.
- Conducting trend analysis of relevant H&S data
Personal Specification
- Hold a NEBOSH Certificate Qualification or equivalent in Health and Safety.
- Previous experience in a Safety Officer/Advisor role
- Experience or understanding of the transport, logistics and warehousing environments
- Be willing to work outside core contracted hours depending on business needs
