HR Generalist (Part time) – Permanent – West Dublin
Seeking a part-time HR Generalist to join a Logistics Organisation on a part-time permanent contract (Standalone role). The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in a generalist position.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the updating and agreement of all employment contracts.
· Spearhead any further recruitment from interview, vetting and onboarding of staff
· Induction of new (and existing where appropriate) staff in line with current legal requirements (working hours, working conditions etc.)
· Be available to field any questions around employment in line with Irish law
· Ensuring that staff have completed various training from a health and safety perspective and certificates are managed and maintained
· Managing holiday requests in line with individual allowances and some level of rostering to avoid overlap
· Dealing with employee requests as and when they arise
Requirements:
· Third level qualification in human resources or related (essential)
· Minimum 3+ years of generalist experience
· Knowledge of employment law
· Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
