The Opportunity
Cpl is working in partnership with a market leader in the renewable energy sector to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join their successful team in Belfast.
Due to continued success and business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join this business in a newly created role.
Your new role
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to set up and manage the HR function within this business supporting the management and wider staff team to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of all HR-related activities.
Key objectives of the HR Manager will include:
· Recruitment - consistent approach to recruitment in support of the management team, to include up-to-date Job descriptions and company information, advertising, screening of candidates, interview preparation, interview support, final selection, job offers, and contractual paperwork.
· Retention - to ensure we have a clear and proactive retention strategy, identifying key and/or at-risk personnel to reduce the risk of staff turnover and minimise related costs.
· Conducting all Induction activities
· Appraisals - support the management team to ensure an effective, consistent appraisal system is in place covering all staff in a timely manner.
· Training Programs - managing both internal and external training requirements
· Managing future TUPE processes for contract awards and acquisitions
· Staff Events & positive engagement, inc charity support
· Compliance with ISO9001 requirements
· Input to annual T&Cs review, including benchmarking.
The ideal candidate
· Proven work experience as a HR Manager/ Senior HR Executive
· Experience of the Renewable energy sector and products or engineering sectors would be desirable but not essential
· Experience of working with cross functional teams and managers
· Capable of communicating up to Board level to advocate for required changes
· Up to date with all legislative requirements for working in NI, and other jurisdictions would be desirable.
· Previous experience with ISO9001 and other quality standards would be desirable
