Cpl is working in partnership with a leading Civil Engineering Company to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join their successful team in Omagh, County Tyrone.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join an award winning business in a newly created role.
About the role
The successful candidate will the opportunity set up this businesses HR function and act as the main point of contact for all HR related matters.
Key duties will include:
• Implementation of all company policies & procedures; supporting our current workforce; absence management; grievance/investigation, disciplinary process and administer to employees
• Manage and maintain HR records to include company handbooks, employee files and all associated records, ensuring practices are in line with the company's document management policies.
• Manage and maintain the company's GDPR systems, records, policies and associated documents
• Analyze current recruitment processes and make improvements through the utilisation of the company's website, social media, job boards etc, to attract talent in the market.
• Draft and place adverts, shortlisting and carry out interviews
• Devise and review individual development plans as part of the Performance Reviews
• Actively and continuously maintain the system to include updates and improvements.
Qualifications and Desired Criteria
• At least 3 years at HR Manager level
• Degree in Human Resources, CIPD Qualified or studying towards
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Must be fully conversant with all aspects of current employment legislation
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Proactive, pragmatic with strong analytical skills
