The HR Operations Specialist role focuses on managing global policy management and policy compliance as well as HR activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
In the policy management and compliance area, the role supports the implementation of global HR policies, communicating relevant instructions, and partnering with global HRBPs in the consistent implementation of policies. In the mergers and acquisitions area, the role supports the management of HR integration plans for all acquisitions and works to enhance the integration of processes and culture.
The role reports to the Global Policy Integration Operations Manager, partnering closely with Integration Operations, Security, Legal and the Global HR community to ensure the implementation, communication of policies and compliance training are delivered in accordance with our timeline and processes.
This role will be responsible for managing and delivery projects globally and concurrently with changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Help facilitate global security audits, working closely with the HR and Security teams to ensure we are compliant;
Maintain annual requirements and systems for existing policies, inclusive of the global handbooks and code of business conduct;
Support the regular review of existing HR Policies to identify necessary changes with clear revision control;
Support the annual training and compliance programs for global policy including completion tracking;
Promote consistent application of HR policies throughout the Organization, maintaining a log of regional nuances and precedents;
Support consistent and transparent visa administration and tracking working with HRPBs and Legal teams;
Respond to commercial RFP requests as it relates to HR policy;
Support ongoing research on best practice in HR policy and compliance management, including exploring practices in the tech space and share recommendations accordingly;
Maintain the internal intranet HR policy library with relevant updates and communication to employees;
M&A Integration Operations
Support the HR due diligence of any new target acquisitions, reviewing all available materials and content;
Support the delivery of activities in the HR integration plan working with internal teams to drive these to completion;
Manage all background checks and offer letters process as required for a new acquisition;
Facilitate engagement in Organizational Health Index survey to identify culture gaps and work to recommend best practices to close them as part of integration;
Manage the integration surveys and support the analysis of responses for new acquisitions;
Manage the acquisition employee data and required changes with systems and finance functions
Work with internal IT team to support any equipment and systems provisioning required for acquired employees;
Responsible for updating the M&A intranet for all new and ongoing acquisitions with relevant content;
Review existing acquisition policies and handbook and make harmonization recommendations ensuring we are competitive, fair, and supportive of our employees across all disciplines of HR;
Maintain a comprehensive playbook with our internal best practices and “roadmap” for all phases and integration steps as well as communications and overall strategy (inclusive of pre- and post-acquisition steps) to apply to future projects;
Proven HR Advisor / HR Consultant / HR Project experience
Highly motivated self-starter
Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet deadlines
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with the ability to manipulate and analyse data
Good oral and written communication skills
