Global consultancy based in Dublin is looking to hire a number junior & mid level Java developers for a long term contracts. Full job specs available. Candidates must have a minimum 2 years commercial experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and enhance Java-based applications across the full SDLC (design → build → test)
· Debug issues and identify root causes in live environments
· Monitor live systems and analyse outputs
· Deliver bug fixes and small enhancements
· Write and execute unit and integration tests
· Support system testing and resolve issues (SIRs)
· Ensure code quality through peer reviews
· Collaborate with team leads and stakeholders
Skills & Experience :
· Strong Java development experience
· Spring Framework
· SQL & database interaction
· UNIX / Linux environments
· Experience working in structured, standards-driven teams
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Front-End / Web (nice to have):
· JavaScript, HTML, CSS
· Web services / APIs
· Tools & Technologies (desirable):
· Docker / OpenShift
· Maven, GitLab
