Learning & Development Manager
18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Dublin City Centre location with Hybrid option
75,000 – 85,000 plus excellent benefits
Reporting to the Head of Talent, Diversity and Organisation Development, you will be responsible for leading the Learning and Development function by identifying the skills and capabilities gaps within the organisation and developing, delivering and co-ordinating appropriate strategies and interventions to address these, in partnership with the business.
Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
§ Develop a future focused Learning and Development strategy to support our client’s strategy and ongoing transformation.
§ Lead an initiative project reporting outcomes to key stakeholders. The project is a continuous commitment to developing our management and leadership pipeline ensuring we have the right skills for the future.
§ Manage, coach and develop a team to execute the L&D Strategy and day-to-day L&D operations.
§ Support the implementation of a new Learning Management System.
§ Lead the identification of skills and capability gaps at organisational and business unit level, providing coaching and guidance as needed and identifying appropriate interventions where relevant.
§ Initiate and lead continuous process improvement within the wider Talent, Diversity and Organisation Development team.
§ Lead the design and delivery of specific learning interventions.
§ Lead the L&D team in the procurement and management of external vendor relationships.
§ Design and implement an evaluation framework across all Learning & Development activities.
§ Demonstrate organisation actions and behaviours in your day-to-day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with them.
Knowledge & Experience
You will have 8+ years’ Learning and Development experience with proven ability to lead a team. A third level relevant qualification in HR or business-related field is desirable. CIPD qualification is also desirable but not mandatory.
Critical to this role is a strong and in-depth working knowledge of Learning and Development operations. You will have experience using Learning Management Systems and have specific skills and experience in the diagnosis, design, procurement and delivery of L&D interventions. Demonstrable results in the areas of process efficiency and improvement will be an advantage.
You have the proven ability and experience in designing and developing content across multiple media. You are passionate about delivering for your customers and have excellent skills in stakeholder management. As a leader in this field, you have a strong knowledge of, and keen interest in, the latest and future learning and development trends.
