My client a well-regarded name in the Financial Service sector is currently recruiting for Lending Senior Analyst on a permanent basis.
The company deals with the funding and guarantees to a range of on-lending finance providers to support the provision of long-term, low-cost credit to SMEs in Ireland giving its range of financial supports to address the Irish credit market.
In this role, you will be proactively supporting the Head of Lending and assist in the development and delivery of the lending function overall strategy plan within the company.
Your Responsibilities:
The role will include and is not limited to:
- Assist in conducting an analysis and due diligence of all new On-Lender business plans.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed credit underwriting assessment of new & existing On-Lenders in preparation for presentation to the SBCI Senior Management Team, Credit Committee & Board as appropriate.
- Assist in the implementation of robust policies, procedures and processes to distribute the SBCI’s products through its On-Lender Partners.
- Support the development of the lending credit model for SBCI and assist in the implementation of the SBCI strategy
- Support the Lending Manager in the on-going management and monitoring of On-Lender relationships ensuring compliance with SBCI terms and conditions and best in class customer engagement.
- Assist with the management of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in cross function projects as required.
- The SBCI operates with a small and focused team, which may mean that flexibility is required from all team members to contribute to efforts beyond their specific areas of responsibility when necessary.
Your Experience & Skills:
- Strong Experience of credit assessment in a financial institution with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
- Third level qualification with credit, banking or equivalent experience would be an advantage.
- Broad knowledge of all aspects of the SBCI business and ability to communicate clearly on same in developing others.
- Proven track record of operating in a changing/demanding environment with ability to manage multiple assignments to a consistently high standard.
- A high level of numeracy and attention to detail are critical.
- Strong general literacy and IT skills with ability to analyse, to model data, to interpret and deliver key management information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills which are focused on the achievement of SBCI’s Marketing objectives.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment, adapting as required to the evolving business needs.
