Role:
The Manufacturing Director will lead a team 30 people and will be accountable for all manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operation of dynamic, safe, high quality and cost-effective Drug Product Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions.
- Drives a culture of safety and quality compliance through the Manufacturing & Supply Chain teams and through the wider site.
- Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT) contributing to the plant’s strategic direction within.
- Responsible for the production schedule and coordinating material logistics. Responsible for manufacture of ’s commercial & clinical products, including bioservices, compounding, filling, and secondary packaging.
- Responsible for ensuring the build, deployment and effectiveness of supply chain systems and processes required by the site.
- Ensures appropriate training and development of the team - on equipment, facility and manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Ensures relevant metrics are in place to effectively measure performance and identify/implement improvement opportunities quickly.

Requirements:
- Degree in science / engineering.
- 15+ years of directly related experience in a clinical/commercial drug product and/or drug substance manufacturing environment
- 10+ years management experience – building and leading high performing teams within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment desirable.
