Mechanical Design Engineer

I am currently working with a client who is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their well-established team based in Bristol. The role will be solely working on a varied portfolio of medical devices, where no two products are the same.

My client is looking for someone with experience in having a hand in the design of medical devices and understands the scientific element i.e using FEA to assess how a product reacts to real world forces. You should have an appetite for solving challenging problems and would consider yourself an “out of the box thinker”.
Key aspects:

Able to produce and validate Finite Element Models
CAD and rapid manufacture: Prototypes, 3D Prints and test rigs
Math Modelling
FEA desirably Abaqus
Creative thinking solving cross-disciplinary problems
Lab testing (desirable)
