- Join with global infrastructure teams to deliver key project results in line with the Global IT Strategy for the company.
- Installation, Configuration and maintenance of core networking equipment (such as Cisco/F5/Riverbed).
- Design, Implement and manage changes to local and wide area (LAN/WAN) networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN and wireless infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze network infrastructure for performance improvement, troubleshoot and diagnose network and voice problems.
- Administration of Cisco UC Platform including the Finesse Contact Centre Platform.
- Provide maintenance and support of hardware and software, including life-cycle management of systems and related applications.
- Provide liaison support for IT and consulting companies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide emergency on-call support and performs occasional after-hours/weekend maintenance updates.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Formal Information Technology or equivalent qualification required.
- Minimum of 8+ years experience in a Technical role (Networking, Telecoms).
- Industry Certified Professional Qualifications advantageous (CCNP, CCIE).
- Proven track record in IT Project delivery.
- Strong technical understanding of Routing and Switching, VOIP, Teleconference Systems, VPN, Data Centre Networking (Nexus), Firewalls, Load Balancing, VPN and SDWAN technologies.
- Strong technical understanding of other technology areas such as Active Directory, Server Operating Systems, Virtualization, NSX, Compute and Storage an advantage.
- A team player with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work outside core business hours if required.
- High self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel on company business as necessary.
