Flexsource are currently recruiting for an Ocean Freight Clerk on behalf of our Client, a leading global logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dublin.
Due to continued growth, our Client is seeking an Ocean Freight Clerk to join their expanding Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within international logistics and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate ocean freight shipments and support daily operations
- Prepare, review and process shipping documentation
- Liaise with customers, carriers, customs brokers and suppliers
- Monitor shipment progress and provide updates to customers
- Maintain accurate records within logistics systems
- Assist with operational reporting and administration
- Support the team in resolving shipment issues and delays
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Key Requirements:
- Previous administration, customer service or logistics experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
