OT/IT Security Delivery Lead
The person filling this role will report to the Security Architecture Manager and will have responsibility for the end to end delivery of all OT & IT Governance & Delivery related activities. He or she will possess extensive knowledge of regulatory and best practice frameworks such as NISD, IEC-62443, ISO-27001 and NIST; will have knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and Informational Technology (IT) environments; will ideally come from a utility background with demonstrable leadership, communication, and relationship management skills; and will possess suitable relevant qualifications for the role. The scope of the OT/IT Security Delivery Lead will be to manage internal and external OT/IT technical professionals to deliver the portfolio of Cyber Security projects and activities; and to define and implement ongoing operations & support of the technologies introduced as part of these projects and activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Minimum of five years relevant experience in similar roles, working for comparable organisations;
• Relevant third level degree in a related field is a requirement;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver innovative technical solutions;
• Ability to translate project priorities into operational reality, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
OT/IT Security Delivery Lead – including but not limited to:
• Deliver an agreed portfolio of Cyber Security projects and activities that delivers outcomes that meets the required security standards;
• Manage a team of internal and external technical professionals;
• Act as an internal security consultant to advise or influence business and technical partners;
• Ensure that the portfolio is managed effectively & efficiently through the entire life cycle;
• Manage the supply and demand of resources across the project portfolio;
• Ensure adherence is maintained with the relevant governance processes, and ensure projects meet all the phases and gates go/no-go criteria;
• Manage contractual relationships with external third parties where appropriate;
• Build strong relationships with peer managers and colleagues with the aim of optimising cooperation and maximising efficiencies across the organisation;
• Implement controlling mechanisms to ensure full project budgets in the Portfolio are known & tracked;
• Manage day to day issues within the project Portfolio and act as an escalation point, taking ownership through to resolution.
