Overview
We are seeking a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) to join our busy practice in Cork. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across accounts preparation, client management, and core tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end financial statements for companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Assist with management accounts, reconciliations, and bookkeeping
- Support basic tax compliance: VAT returns, PAYE, and corporation tax filing
- Liaise with clients on queries and documentation
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and audits as needed
Requirements
- Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with 1–2 years’ practice experience
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero) and Excel
- Strong communication and organisational skills
