Key Responsibilities of the Role
• Evaluate new product concepts, followed by developing and implementing new products
• Perform small and large scale mixings for testing • Evaluate generated data and decide next course of actions
• Provide technical support as needed for Mix lab, GE and Operations
• Provide technical solutions to internal customers and end-users
• Transfer process and product knowledge from R&D to Operations
• Plan projects, report results and maintain all necessary documentation.
• Develop knowledge on technology in order to become the reference SME in client's R&D and the main point of contact on scientific matters related to this technology
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science with a minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Must be hands-on with laboratory work and process development
• Must be self-initiative and have ability to learn both at experimental and academic levels
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong team player
Desirable
• Liquid crystal chemistry knowledge is highly desired
• Knowledge of JMP Statistically software is a plus
