Position Overview: You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing our API architecture and cache systems. You will bring a deep understanding of Redis and cache implementations, combined with a proven track record of leading teams and driving impactful decisions. Your expertise in microservices architecture and data modeling will contribute to the growth and success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Hands-On API Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance APIs that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Leverage your expertise to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
· Cache Implementation: Demonstrate your profound experience in designing and implementing cache systems, with a strong preference for Redis. Optimize cache strategies to enhance system performance, ensuring seamless data access and retrieval.
· Team Leadership and Decision-Making: Showcase your ability to lead a team, fostering collaboration and synergy. Drive key technical decisions that align with project goals and overall business objectives.
· Cross-Team Collaboration: Prove your capability to work collaboratively across various teams, gathering input and driving discussions to achieve well-documented results. Contribute to an environment of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
· Microservices and APIs: Utilize your architectural and design skills to contribute to the development and enhancement of microservices and APIs. Ensure that services are modular, efficient, and easily maintainable.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred, but not Mandatory):
· Data Modeling and Design: Bring your experience in data modeling and design to ensure efficient and organized data structures that support our applications' performance and scalability.
· IBM Cloud Databases for Redis: Prior exposure to IBM Cloud Databases for Redis is a plus, showcasing your ability to adapt and work with a variety of technology stacks.
· Developer Experience: Demonstrate your understanding of the developer experience by creating intuitive and well-documented APIs, SDKs, and tools that enhance developer productivity.
· Application and Cloud Security: Implement best practices for application and cloud security, ensuring that all systems are robustly protected against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
