We are recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to cover UK. The role is based in the UK, with the expectation of traveling to customer sites in the UK and occasional travel to the headquarters in Northern Ireland.
The Job:
- Generate leads in the Recycling Sector for machinery and drive growth across selected customer targets
- Liaise with engineering to produce product solutions and present these solutions to customers with sound knowledge of the equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to consider regarding product offering
- Meet and aim to exceed KPIs set by the UK Sales Manager
- Provide reports on KPIs such as sales projections, orders won and number of visits
- Ensure compliance with required documentation
Essential Skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or alternatively sound knowledge of and previous working experience in the recycling sector
- Proven experience of successfully winning new business opportunities
- Sound commercial acumen and experience of negotiation, influencing and a proven ability to close deals to exceed sales targets
- Technically minded to understand and sell products on technical merits
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is desirable
