Sales Manager - Dublin
OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE
• To lead the Republic of Ireland sales team to meet annual revenue growth and profitability targets, which, include the selling of DX services to existing customers and securing new business.
• To deliver significant new business revenue growth year-on-year.
• To identify and personally close appropriate new business opportunities within key accounts.
• To develop DX’s customer relationships and supplier positioning with these customers to a strategic level.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive team activity levels to deliver exceptional client relationship management and vigorous new business performance.
• Personal responsibility for strategic business relationship and leadership with selected larger accounts. To develop new sales within these accounts.
• Ensure the development and implementation of account strategy for the sector/portfolio with customer account plans that clearly identify opportunities and risks that impact future account value.
• Have a robust, new business pipeline with sufficient sales opportunity to exceed the growth target during the financial year.
• Maximisation of sales productivity via regular team meetings and management.
• Active personal involvement to make sure that each sales person has the best chance of success.
• To ensure that sales processes are followed.
• To provide the business with regular progress reports, on team progress and target against pre-determined KPIs.
• Customer visits on a weekly basis.

• Delivery of revenue and gross margin targets
• Development and management of sales strategy
• Management and achievement of KPI measurements for the team
• Sales opportunity and pipeline management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Track record of successful B2B sales and sales management
• Experience in both public and private sector sales
• Results driven
• Ability to recruit, train, focus and drive the sales team to exceed targets and build profitable sustainable business.
• Ability to interface with customers to build successful relationships
• Knowledge of contract and report writing
• Contract negotiation experience and a high success rate at closing deals
• Knowledge and experience of the mail and parcel industry is preferable, but not essential.

• Ability to interact with all areas of the business to ensure profitable business is secured
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead from the front
• Strong business acumen and a good understanding of the financial implications of sales wins
