With the creation of a brand new Tech Centre of Excellence for the global retail operations, an opportunity exists for a Vendor/Contracts Manager to join the team to manage the relationships with the external tech providers.
About the opportunity
This role is responsible for the management of the relationship between partners; you will lead on defining, managing and maintaining SLA’s and continually review, develop and manage contracts in line with the business strategy and best practices.
You will be responsible for:
- Work with internal and external legal teams on the review of agreements, changes, negotiations and terminations
- Coordinates with internal Legal and Procurement teams
- Ensure vendors’ contractual compliance by tracking and managing performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and other terms of the contract
- Provides contract knowledge and drives ongoing value from the vendor through contract negotiations, changes, rapid issue resolution or escalation
About you
- IT contract negotiation and contract management experience
- Understanding of legal terms and conditions for IP, IT agreements, SLAs, pricing etc.
- Legal or contract writing experience
- Financial understanding and ability to resolve contract and pricing issues
