Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst
Job Responsibilities
Champion creating continuous flow in multiple process environment
Critically review batch production processes and identify opportunities to reduce lead time, reduce inventory, drive efficiency improvement and improve service levels, through the implementation of lean initiatives
Act as a ‘Change Agent’ in the introduction of lean tools & principles in manufacturing and drive/sustain improvements by working directly supporting and mentoring Operations and Engineering at all levels
Assist in the identification and organization of resources required to achieve successful initiative/project implementation - Coach individual project teams to enable them to succeed in continuous improvement deployment
Monitor and critically review progress of value streams against plans and achievement of continuous improvement against key performance operations assessment criteria. Responsible for identifying and highlighting further opportunities in delivering improvements in process performance along with identifying opportunities in methodologies that sustain gains
Assist in the definition of project scoping and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility of Continuous Improvement Projects
The facilitator responsible for assisting the project manager in the successful planning, scheduling and completion of continuous improvement projects. Review detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Develop skill levels of site personnel to implement and sustain Continuous Improvement. Provide training, coaching and mentoring in lean principles to both direct and indirect including cross-functional personnel
What your background should look like:
Qualifications
Level 8 degree qualified ideally in the Industrial Engineering field or equivalent
Lean Six Sigma certification (minimum Black Belt) with 5 - 10 years post qualification experience
Qualifications / Certifications in Lean Practices a distinct advantage
Experience in AutoCAD / Solid Works an advantage
Key Requirements
Experience rolling out & embedding CI methodologies in batch production environment(s) - Confirmed delivery of tangible benefits using CI approach
Excellent analytical skills and a strong visionary of waste reduction
Proven experience in facilitating Kaizen workshop events
Strong facilitation, coaching, motivational and influencing skills
Experience supporting successful project teams, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in PIM, VSM, 5s, Cell Design, 3P in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated self-direction & organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven ability to adapt to changing work priorities in response to a rapidly changing environment
Ensures adherence to quality and safety standards with all improvement efforts
