Employer Relations Manager job in Galway in my clients Employer Relations Division. manages the day to day running of the Regional Office, providing leadership to a team of professionals and ensures the delivery of quality employer relations. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, experienced HR professional, and will provide employer relations update & will share insights on local issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of quality human resource and industrial relations services to members.
- Ensure members needs are identified and addressed in a holistic way, working collaboratively across the organisation where appropriate
- Manage the day to day operations of the regional office
- Provide leadership and management to the regional team
- Manage a case list providing high quality human resources and industrial relations advice
- Represent at the relevant 3rd party employment rights and industrial relations bodies and conduct enterprise level negotiations
- Develop written contributions for as required
- Keep abreast of employment law; employment relations and human resource developments
Candidate Requirements:
- 7 years relevant operational experience in industrial relations and human resources
- Experience of working in a leadership role
- Strong advocacy and influencing skills
- Ability to engage and work with senior management across a diversity of sectors
