My client an Energy Utilities Group have an upcoming role for an experienced Energy Analyst based in Dublin. Responsible for representing and promoting the interests of our client with policy makers,
regulators, Government bodies, system operators and trade associations.
This new opportunity will offer the successful candidate with a chance to play their part in shaping the energy markets of the future. You will be involved in key policy decisions across the Renewables, Flexible Generation and Customer Solutions businesses and will represent the Group in interactions with
regulators, government, and industry stakeholders. We are looking for someone who has experience in the energy industry, particularly wholesale markets, and who is well organised, commercially focused and who is an excellent communicator.
• ESSENTIAL : Experience and knowledge of the all-island Single Electricity Market, Capacity Market, and DS3 arrangements.
• Experience of managing projects and consultants
These are the qualifications, experience, skills, or knowledge you must have:
• Third level degree in a discipline with a high level of numerical, analytical and/or financial content
including economics, finance, law, engineering, or other energy related fields.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience and knowledge of wholesale electricity markets.
• Experience of developing and drafting consultation responses in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience of effectively building relationships and influencing stakeholders, both internally and
externally.
• Sound knowledge of national and EU energy policy, with experience of advising on same.
