Senior Psychologist require for part-time role with child and Adolescent Primary Care

A Temporary 0.5 Senior Psychologist vacancy has arisen in the HSE Dublin South Child and Adolescent Primary Care Service as part of a national waiting list initiative.
The Psychologist would join the existing Psychology team in the provision of a range of lower and higher intensity services in response to a range of child and family needs. As Senior Psychologist the post holder would help lead, develop and evaluate service provision and provide supervision to staff grade, assistant and trainee staff as required.
Services currently offered by Dublin South team include individual assessment, consultation and advice (to families and staff), psychological therapy and group interventions. Services include the delivery of parenting programmes, educational talks and workshops, brief Parent and Teen advice.
• A recognised post-graduate qualification as a Clinical, Educational or Counselling Psychologist with a minimum of 2 year post qualification experience.
• Experience working within a similar setting, e.g. CAMHS, primary care, paediatrics
• Candidates qualified outside the Republic of Ireland are required to hold validation of their qualifications with the Dept of Health & Children
• Permission to work in Ireland
