- Leading the shaping of solution options, providing appropriate challenge to stakeholders and influencing strategic direction, to ensure that the solutions are architecturally aligned and focused on delivering value to the organisation.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of business areas and of organisational inter-dependencies to ensure an enterprise view when designing business solutions.
- Develop solution designs and supporting technical design documentation.
- For procured solution, carry out market research and lead the IT tender team to ensure successful tender outcomes for the organisation.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with other IT stakeholders.
- Driving improvements in standards, processes, tools and techniques.
- Keep up to date with technology developments and their potential application to the Bank’s use cases.
- Relevant experience in Design & Architecture, preferably with a background in Solution Delivery, operating at a senior level;
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills;
- Ability to produce concise, accurate solution designs to meet business requirements;
- Self-starter with the ability to show initiative and work without supervision;
- Significant experience in the design and/or development across some or all technologies in use in the Bank is a distinct advantage. - MS Dynamics 365, Angular Design and Development, MS SQL Server, .Net, MS Power BI, SSAS & SSRS, XBRL processing, Opentext, SharePoint, SAP, Data Warehousing, etc.
- Understanding and practical experience of agile software development methodologies is beneficial.
