We are currently recruiting for a Major Public body as part of nation- wide contract.
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £16.18 p/h
The position is temporary with an estimated duration until 31st March 2022. Please note that this is purely an estimated duration.
Key tasks for each post will be as follows:
Input of c.140 Heritage at Risk records to HED systems and databases within a defined geographical area, including the creation of new electronic files.
Update of data on c.300 records resulting from a review of their condition in 2021/22.
Compiling and issuing letters to the owners of new additions to the Register including funding opportunities and dealing with subsequent enquiries.
Communication and engagement with government contacts on additions within their departments or arm’s length body.
Work to examine and highlight potential new entries to visit through consideration of other LPS lists of vacant assets, Ecorys 2013 Condition Survey category ‘poor’ and vacant assets on HED databases
Engagement with councils to improve the communication and knowledge of HAR in each council area. Ground work to help the Division develop pilots in three council areas with HAR lists and guidance on tackling vacancy.
Work to support the development of the HAR section of the DfC website- case studies/ lists for councils / guidance etc and work with councils.
Visioning work to consider options for meanwhile uses for HAR assets in Gov ownership
Have at least a second-class honours degree in any discipline.
Have demonstrable experience in the heritage or architecture.
