Supply Chain Administrator
Permanent Role - Medical device
Waterford city south
We have an excellent opportunity for a supply chain administrator with a medical device/life science based company just south of Waterford City. You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in a supply chain administration role or as a buyer/procurement specialist with prior experience in shipping, logistics and inventory management desired
Standalone role – full onsite role now but some flexibility with some wfh once you are up to speed.
The ideal candidate will have the following
Detailed hands-on / customizing knowledge and proficiency at using ERP systems
Experience in procurement and purchasing of materials from international suppliers
Proficient in use of Excel spreadsheets and strong knowledge of computer software such as MS office; etc.
Experience in inbound and outbound logistics and shipping coordination
Good negotiation skills
Ability to prioritize and respond timely to changing requirements, and to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
Detail orientated and self-motivated.
Good organizational, facilitation and excellent communication skills both written and oral required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure.
Experience working under ISO 13485 quality systems
Import and export, and customs regulations would be desirable but not essential.
