Supply Chain Quality Analyst
The Raw Materials Supply Chain Quality Analyst is responsible for defined aspects of the quality assurance programme which involves day to day ownership, monitoring, development of the Raw Materials, Supply Chain and compilation of metrics to ensure compliance with specific industry standards, legal and customer requirements and measurement of performance. The Supply Chain Quality Analyst is a key support role within the site operations team and ensures the Mill is compliant with QA policies across the site team in conjunction with day to day monitoring and scheduling of Raw Materials and inspection of finished products for compliance and quality standards including site hygiene and GMP performance.
Responsibilities
· Management of the Raw Materials Supply Chain
· Reporting daily & weekly quality metrics for Raw Material and Finished Product
· Reporting on defined aspects of the QMS at daily VM meetings
· Completion of daily checks on key processing parameters & CCP’s and verifying that checks are being completed by operations.
· Weighing Instrumentation – daily tour of plant to verify that all weighing instruments are in a known state of calibration by running reference testing
· Communicate quality issues and quality developments (i.e. legislation changes effectively across the site team)
· Escalate any quality issue that is unresolved in a timely manner
· Participate in both the preparation for and delivery of site Customer audits.
· Involvement in resolution of non-routine happenings including customer complaint investigations and verification of corrective actions.
· Liaise with the nutritionist on technical issues and represent their requirements at site forums.
· Completion of UFAS audits as assigned on site
· Completion of glass audits across the site together with regular checks in line with the UFAS standard.
· Take ownership for maintenance of upgrade of the QMS manual.
· Develop and instil recognition of a Quality culture across the Site management team and operations team
· Assist the production manager in coaching and developing the quality ethos to operators and front-line management.
· Ensure the use of CI processes & techniques within the Quality function
