A leading multinational IT giant (Fortune Global 500 company) is looking for a German technical support professional to join their Technical Support Engineer team based in Glasgow, UK.
Position: Technical Support Engineer - German Speaking
- First year income: Up to 50,000 (Base of 35,000 - 40,000)

Responsibilities:
- You'll serve as the primary point of contact for hardware, software, and overall problem resolution.
- End-to-end case management.
- Provide live call centre technical support using multiple systems, including phone, chat and e-Ticketing.
- Maintain outstanding customer satisfaction scores, with the professional communications and soft skills necessary to defuse difficult customer situations and work to problem resolution
Requirements
- 2 plus years of direct contact centre experience in similar Intel and AMD based hardware environments
- Prior experience as a Level 2 contact centre agent
- Fluent German and English
Additional/Preferred Skills
- 2 plus years of direct contact centre experience in similar Intel and AMD based hardware environments
- Network troubleshooting experience
- Technical knowledge of VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat and SUSE operating systems
- Microsoft: MCSA and MCSE certifications (server operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud)
- VMware: VCP-DCV, VCIX-DCV strongly preferred
- Red Hat: RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA (Datacentre, Cloud, High Availability)
- NetApp: NCDA, NCIE
- Containers: Rancher, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu
- Hyperconverged Technologies: Nutanix, Azure, VSAN, etc.
