Test Manager – Cloud Transformation (SAS) – 50% Contract
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to support a major cloud transformation programme, involving the migration of on-premise systems to a SAS-hosted cloud platform. This role will focus on coordinating testing across multiple new cloud environments and ensuring high-quality delivery across system, component, and UAT phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end testing across 3 new cloud environments, including infrastructure and platform validation
Oversee migration testing from on-prem systems to SAS-hosted cloud
Manage system and component testing activities, ensuring full coverage and quality assurance
Coordinate and support UAT across a large and potentially complex user base, requiring strong stakeholder and people management
Work closely with 3rd party vendors, cloud partners, and internal stakeholders
Track defects, risks, and test progress, ensuring alignment with programme timelines
Requirements
Proven Test Manager experience on large-scale cloud or platform migration programmes
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and SaaS environments
Experience working with SAS platforms is beneficial
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and challenging UAT environments
