Cpl in partnership with their client Pfizer are recruiting for a Shipping Technician.
Scope of Implants Role within Pfizer:
Based on-site within Pfizer’s location in Grange Castle the Shipping Technician will be responsible for the Receiving, Pick Pack and Loading of shipments . The candidate will report directly to the Shipping Operations Supervisor to ensure all the tasks are completed on time and in an efficient manner.
Proposed Areas of Responsibilities:
- Processing outbound shipments
- Ensuring all shipping pack outs are RFT guaranteeing efficient receiving at the destination site
- Ensure 100% shipping consumables accuracy
- Demonstrate excellence in electronic systems - SAP - Microsoft applications
- Initiate continuous improvements and process improvements
- Actively seek opportunities to identify and contribute cost savings in the overall operation
- Assist in receiving returned assets
- Ensuring all import documentation is attached to the shipments and provided to the drivers upon shipment dispatch
- Must be proactive, supportive and adaptable to changes to the daily schedule
- Liaise with CSM team to ensure the documentation is availability and accurate and feedback any potential delays to the shipping schedule
- Ensure shipments are inspected prior to dispatch and report any damage or potential product risks
- Work with other warehouse team members to ensure timely execution of daily tasks
- Maintain training at on or above the site metric
- Maintain the shipping operating systems
- Ensure all activities are completed in a safe manner and highlight any potential safety concerns in a timely manner
- Follow detailed GMP SOPs
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a GMP compliant way
- Must be able and willing to work with employees from other departments to help solve shipping questions that may arise
- Support future shipping qualifications
- Maintain the physical security and cleanliness of all warehouse facilities
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
Proposed Experience:
- 1-3 Years Logistics/Freight Forwarding Experience
- SAP Experience an Advantage
- IATA Trained an Advantage
- IMDG Trained an Advantage
- Known Consignor certified an Advantage
- Exceptional level of Attention to Detail
- Proven Time Management & Organisational Skills
