Calling Technical Service Personnel in the Water or Medical Devices / Pharma industries or perhaps you are a Marine Engineer looking to establish your career on shore into a transferable industry. Excellent Opportunity for the position of Field Services Engineer to work with multi-national leading specialists and provide a quality service to their Pharma / Biopharma clients in Ireland.
This is a permanent staff mobile position predominantly for the South East & Midlands (Waterford, Athlone) but you will support the other teams around Ireland also. Applicants will need to enjoy moving site to site and developing their skill set. Plenty of variety in this role, you will be involved in anything from preventative and reactive maintenance, calibration to fault rectification and root cause analysis. Equipment is mostly clean utilities, sterilisers, decontamination. It is regular that if working on a shutdown or similar on any site more than 1.5 hour drive, an overnight stay/allowance/compensation is provided. Employees are compensated for travel and hotel stayovers. Expect to be mobile at least 2 weeks of the month. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, (door to door) 44 hours weekly and overtime will kick in after 44 if overtime is required.

Applicants must have;
- A relatable technical qualification
- At least 2 years experience in a technical service role from a transferable industry in a regulated environment
- Have a full driving license
- Have the flexibility to work in a mobile position that will require overnight stays from time to time
- Be available to travel; Training will be circa 2 weeks in the UK (flights, accom, food allowance etc with be provided)
- Be authorised to work in Ireland with no less than stamp 4 visa minimum
- Have clear written and verbal communication
