The Client
My Client is one of Irelands largest food processors Based in Co Armagh, but with locations globally. A vacancy has arisen for a Product Development Technologist within their Technical function.
The Role
Responsible for the executing the customer and category development plans, ensuring delivery of innovation, technical and commercial objectives, through cross functional collaboration with the Site Teams.
Responsible for execution of approved customer & category product development projects to include:
· Innovation
· Product transfers
· Product improvement
· Responsible for ensuring the products are representative of the product signed off by the customer, sustainability of the operational quality, technical standards and commercials.
The Person
• Food related degree and/or a minimum of 1 years Product Development experience in the food industry with direct responsibility for launching food products.
• Experience running factory trials
• Experience working with product costing.
